I haven’t found a family doctor yet so have come here during walk-in hours. Wait time has been very short. Nurses are so kind and amazing with kids. They are very respectful to their feelings and mine as a concerned mom! Never make me feel like I’m overreacting or like I am a burden which is how I feel at most places! Doctor is thorough and knowledgeable. Very kind and patient as well. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a walk-in. Unfortunately he isn’t taking any new patients at the moment.

This was a wonderful clinic! I called while waiting at another clinic with an undetermined wait time. The receptionist queried my distance away and confirmed I could be taken right away and wished me a safe drive. Dr. Haddow met me at the front desk in order to let his reception staff leave on time, took my info and ushered me in. He introduced himself again in the exam room and apologized for the staff leaving. He took his time, asked questions, and was genuinely concerned for my condition. He emailed my prescription directly to the pharmacy. Care and consideration A to Z! Too bad he’s not taking new patients. He is credit to healthcare!

I came in today with my son who hurt is wrist during a a school trip for snowboarding and skiing. I was a walk in with no appointment and he was seen in less than 5-10 minutes. The lovely ladies at the front desk were amazing. So kind. Dr. Haddaw was very welcoming and understanding and made sure we got a form to get X-rays done right away. I visited Creek Side Medical Clinic after a recommendation to seek help at a walk-in clinic by 811 while I was visiting Calgary for work. Creek Side is one of the only walk-in's open past 5 PM. The staff is wonderful and I was able to see a Doctor quickly! Dr. Zaid Haddaw took the time to listen to the symptoms I was experiencing and discuss and a come up with a wonderful care plan. I am so thankful for his attentiveness and the resources he provided me outside the clinic. This was the best experience I ever had at a walk-in! I will definitely look to this clinic as the clinic I will trust when my spouse and I move to Calgary later this year - and if I'm lucky enough I hope to have myself and my spouse as patients of Dr. Zaid Haddaw.

Alberta Health Care covered eye disease screening for early detection and treatment of vision loss is offered by Euclid Telehealth with your family physician at your local Creekside Medical Clinic.

Did you know 1 in 5 Canadians will suffer preventable vision loss in their lifetime, if left unchecked?

Euclid Telehealth provides a specialized, non-invasive, 20-minute eye disease assessment to identify changes that lead to vision loss and blindness, such as: glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, among many others.

Anyone can access this Alberta Health Care covered eye disease screening at no charge (it is always good to start at a younger age and set up a baseline of your eye health). If any of the following apply you should consider an annual eye disease assessment:

  • You are over 40 years old
     
  • You are diabetic
     
  • You have a family history of eye disease
     
  • You are experiencing any of the following:
    • Blurred vision
    • A gradual change in vision
    • Increased difficulty driving at night
